Our Mission:

Lakeview Youth Association was founded in 2006 with a single goal, to be a community advocate for positive and safe sports for area children.  Our non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is based in Battle Creek, Michigan.  LYA offers programs and services for everyone involved in youth sports experiences, including volunteer administrators, volunteer coaches, officials, parents and young athletes.  The goal of LYA is to make sports and activities safe, positive and healthy experiences. 
LYA  believes this is possible if:

• We provide our athletes with positive instruction and build basic motor skills
• Volunteer administrators, volunteer coaches and officials are offered various trainings to help them in their roles.
• Parents attend an orientation meeting to understand the important impact sports has on their child's development and learn how they can get involved.

Lakeview Youth Association is 100% Volunteer run. We are dedicated to providing a great sports experience for the youth in our area.

LYA operates Battle Creek Area Little League, the only Official Little League affiliate for Battle Creek, MI and surrounding areas. We are 1 of 12 leagues that make up Michigan District 2 under Little League International.

LYA also offers  Rocket Football & Cheer programs in the fall; as well as LMS Club Soccer & Softball.

CODE OF CONDUCT
✔ No use of tobacco at any LYA event.
✔ No use of profanity at any time.
✔ No use of alcohol/drugs before or during any LYA event.
✔ Parents are not allowed on the field, unless your child is injured.
✔ Harassment of officials and/or coaches will not be permitted, this includes in person and on social media.
✔ Good sportsmanship will be demonstrated at all times, including anything related to LYA on social media.
✔ No pets are allowed at practice or game facilities.

Non-Compliance to the above code of conduct may result in discipline from LYA Board of Directors up to and including
dismissal from the program.
